Hass-type foundry during the nineteenth century created one of the most used and abused typefaces to have ever existed: these posters are an accumulation of type studies focusing on the goal of arranging type in unique ways. Through this process, there were thousands of variations of layouts and designs that lead to these final iterations that represent the exotic and versatile font that Helvetica is.
