I tend to lean into a combination of hand-drawn imagery and simple typography for my logo designs. Logo design is a puzzle of tapping into a company's core and trying to display its values and identity in a compact, versatile design.
Commune Market was the brainchild of two world-class chefs that wanted to create a pop-up restaurant. The business is rooted in their early days of backyard hangouts with good friends. The chef’s day jobs are at Michelin-star restaurants but their passion is serving street food, coffee, and being involved in the community. From the old days of backyard cookouts and ordering from the alleyway to traveling the streets in a food truck, the endeavor has been ever fruitful. Capturing the chef’s humor by making fun of all the social classes that praise money enough to purchase expensive small portions. This restaurant is catered to be lowkey, maintain the culture, and provide heaping portions.
Blur: perspective shifters, reality makers. This company is inspired by modern design and blurring the reality we perceive. They are here to disrupt and blur the traditional means of marketing and advertisement campaigns. A highly skilled team working with data-driven approaches can promise brands the best experience, expertise, and results. Blur is here to defy what you thought you knew about marketing, design, and business. This company is more than a brand. They are perspective shifters and reality makers.
Foothills Gold is a small off-grid maple syrup company. The clients wanted to maintain their off-grid identity and remain somewhat infamous. Taking into account that they were in a very remote part of Minnesota where mysterious things appear, Mr. Squatch wanted to be the face of the company. This is Maple Grove’s first appearance on the market with their highly coveted maple syrup and they wanted something simple but playful and fun. The color palette was inspired by the colors of the woods surrounding their tiny home operation.
Juniper Whiskey is a barrel-aged rare American western whiskey. This whiskey, derived from the tears of angels and the blood of devils, brings a smooth holy burn that gets you coming back for more. This Texan dream of a liquid comes in small batches only. Your great-grandpa wishes this was around back in his day, embodying the western heritage of the American dream. Making you feel as though you are at the bar in a dusty saloon after a long day wrangling steers and herding cattle.
