My identity, who and what makes me an artist and craftsman, has been forged over a decade of creating custom surfboards. As my skills developed so did my creativity.  I pursued the main goal of sculpting functional art by hand.  Through handcraftsmanship, I maintained passion, integrity, and respect for tradition with the single goal to create truly unique vessels, bespoke, tailored to each client, designed to execute their desires and enhance their experience.

Having an in-depth understanding of craftsmanship, hydrodynamic principles, experience, and artistry are the foundation of great surfboard design. I have grown in sophistication in all of these areas over the years.  I have also come to determine my values as a creative, knowing what’s important to me, what excites me, and where my strengths lie. I am a designer but a meticulous craftsman too. I am an innovator but I’m guided by tradition.  While I’m an artist, I’m fundamentally a commercial artist, lending my talents to fulfill my client’s needs. My brand identity stems from my pride in retaining authenticity and incorporating my passion for creating with my hands while designing around the principles of functionality.
